My sister-in-law is a tremendously talented artist. She is a painter with a degree in fine arts. You have seen many of her works in our home. She also shows at the Jennifer Harwell Gallery. This summer, she is hosting two art camps at her home in the Birmingham area. She only has five spots left, so if you are interested let me know ASAP. I know that she will fill up very shortly.
The dates are:
June 21 & 22. 9:00-12:30 or 1:00-4:30
June 23 & 24. 9:00-12:30 or 1:00-4:30
The cost is $75, which inculdes all supplies and a snack.
Art camp is for ages 4 & up (She has girls and boys already registered). Each class will have a maximum of four children so that they will each have plenty of help.
They will be doing a still life series on canvas, tie-dying shirts, doing an earth friendly art piece out of recycled materials, learning about different artists and art vocabulary, creating a self portrait and getting messy!
