Note to self…

The splash pad is closed on Mondays. I wish I had known that before I loaded up the car with little girls and traveled 40 minutes to Gardendale. Oh, well! We had a fun time anyway. We played on the playground.
Patterson made some new friends and played “ice cream stand” with mulch from the playground.
We enjoyed a visit from the ice cream truck.
When we were done, Patterson drug her BFFs to the car to head home.Since the splash pad was closed, we came home and made our own version… pointed the sprinkler onto the swingset. I think they enjoyed it as much as they would have otherwise.
