We made it home from the beach yesterday safe and sound. We spent about 12 days at the beach with CC, Pop, Clare and John. We had a fabulous trip. The main purpose of the trip, besides visiting with our family, was for Mary Anneliese to take swim lessons. She had a wonderful experience at the Orange Beach pool with Miss Candace as her teacher. She was in the stroke development class. She learned to freestyle, backstroke, tread water, and dive from the diving board. It was a lot of fun for her, and it was a lot of fun for me to watch. We swam everyday, got lots of sun, rode the golfcart, ate, shopped and played really hard. All in all, it was a really fun trip. We sure were glad to get home and see Jonathan, though!
