Godspell

Guess what we’re going to see tonight! Wow, how did you guess? Mom is taking Clare, Mary Anneliese, and me to see SummerTide’s production of Godspell. SummerTide is the profssional summer theater of the University of Alabama, and this year is the sixth year that they have performed in Gulf Shores. Godspell, composed by Stephen Swartz (who also composed Wicked), opened in 1971 at an off-Bradway theater. It is based on parables from the book of Matthew. It will run through July 3 in Gulf Shores.
