Sabbath Selah: 2 Corinthians 5:19-21

I might have given you this scripture before, but it’s so good it bears repeating.

“God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. “

Let’s dwell a minute on the fact that we are Christ’s ambassadors of His message of reconciliation. Y’all, how will the world know how to be reconciled to God unless we tell them? How can we tell them “as if God were making His appeal through us?” Oh, Church! That we would tell His message of reconciliation as urgently and lovingly and clearly as if the Father Himself were speaking it!
