From A Grateful Heart

Friends, thank you so much for checking on us after the horrific storms that hit our state yesterday. We in Alabama are accustomed to tornadoes – it is part of life in the south. However, our favorite meteorologist James Spann called this “a generational storm” meaning you only see storms of this magnitude once in a a lifetime. We are incredibly grateful to have been spared and injury or damage to our family or home. We were without power for about 30 hours, but we will gladly accept that inconvenience over the devastation we have been hearing on the radio. Our power just came back on about 10 minutes ago, and I am anxious to watch a little of the TV coverage and see the pictures and video of our neighbors in Pleasant Grove and Tuscaloosa. My heart is so heavy for them, yet there is little we can do until streets are passable and downed live power lines are secured. Please continue to pray for those who have lost so much!
