She Won’t Take No For An Answer

When I went in to get Patterson up from her nap today, our conversation went something like this:

Me: “PattiGirl, do you want to go with me to Michael’s? I need to get some things for Vacation Bible School.”

P: “No, I want to go to the McWane Center.”

Me: “We can’t go to the McWane Center.”

P: “Why not?”

Me: “They are closed.”

P: “We can use Mommy’s keys.”

Me: “My keys won’t work.”

P: “We can change the batteries and then they will work.”

Me: (laughing uncontrollably) “They still won’t work, Funny Girl.”

P: “Well then I will just go to my music class.”

Oh my goodness! This girl has an answer for everything!
