Halloween 2009

On Saturday evening, we headed over to Homewood to Jonathan’s sister’s house for dinner and trick-or-treating. So much fun! We were mended enough from our recent ailments to really enjoy the fun. We filled our bellies full of pizza and loaded our strollers and wagons with blankets for the trek to West Glenwood. West Glenwood is a street in Homewood where they block off the street and all the houses decorate to the hilt and pass out garbage cans (clean ones!) full of candy. My children LOVE seeing all the decorations and the costumes. Oh, the COSTUMES! So fun and so cute! When it was all over, we headed home at a reasonable hour and even gained an hour before church on Sunday. I’d say that’s the perfect way to do Halloween!
