Glory Revealed II

Oh. My. Word. I have been dying to tell you about the fabulous worship experience I had the other night!

So one night last week I was reading BooMama’s blog. (Click here to read it for yourself. You will thank me because you’ve never laughed so hard sitting by yourself reading a blog!)She was giving away two tickets to the Glory Revealed concert at my church, so I registered. Guess who the winner was! That’s right, folks. It was me. And these were not just any tickets. They were VIP tickets which included dinner beforehand with the artists. I just about quit breathing on the spot. I mean, is there anybody alive who doesn’t know how much I love worship music?

Y’all, when I looked at the list of artists who sang and played on this project I just about quit breathing (again!). Mac Powell, of Third Day fabulosity, Trevor Morgan, and Brandon Heath, just to name a few. And we had heard that there would be a special guest. Who could it be? It was none other than Chris Tomlin!! The foremost writer of Christian hymns alive today! He is responsible (well, I’m sure God gave him the idea) for writing How Great is Our God, Famous One, Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone), How Can I Keep From Singing, Indescribable, and on and on and on… He played and we sang. I think I died and went to heaven.

The entire night was incredible. Mac Powell rocked the house. Trevor Morgan was fantastic. David Nasser, the evangelist behind the Glory Revealed idea, spoke about the power and truth of God’s Word. Do I even have to say how incredible Chris Tomlin was? Y’all, I’ve got to end this post before I quit breathing again!

Big, big, big thank you to BooMama for the tickets.

I am so glad you got to do that!

Apparently, it was just a great weekend for worship…Calvary hosted the Beth Moore simulcast Friday night and Saturday morning….Phenomenal!
