The girls are gone to Meridian for a few days to stay with their grandparents. I have had two days (well, almost) to do whatever I want! I’ve finally taken the time to shop for clothes for my high school reunion, which is coming up in about three weeks. I got my hair cut this morning by a new girl. My old one is no longer working at the same salon, and I’d rather stay at the salon than follow her to her new place. I’ve been busy working on a big project for Mary Anneliese’s room, one that I have wanted to complete for forever, but haven’t had a chance to do it. I went to the library and checked out a big stack of books, and I am almost finished with the first one. I popped into the Jack & Jill Shop to look for fall clothes for the girls. If I want to get matching outfits, I have to catch them when they first arrive or they sell out of one of their sizes. Scored two new outfits for them. And tonight we have reservations at Fleming’s for dinner. Yum! I miss my girls, but I sure do make the most of my time when they are occupied!
