It’s dance program time again, and this year’s theme was Spirit of America. It was a very patriotic program, telling the story of the birth and first years of our country. There was a group of Native American maidens (very cute!), Liberty Belles, cadettes on parade (darling Nutcracker-like costumes), pilgrim daughters, shining seas (very pretty, flowy blue-green costumes), and it all ended with a group of little fireworks. Mary Anneliese was a colonial dame.
We LOVE Briarwood Ballet and their committment to teaching dance as a form of worship. Mary Anneliese has already begun asking if she can dance again next year. Love it!!
