Our home school group had a fabulous field trip today with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. They have a musician who will hold an instrument petting zoo for your group. She played several of the instruments, discussed the families of instruments, and told the children all about the orchestra. She played several pieces of classical music on her oboe. And then she let the children come up one by one and play the instruments. It is a terrific outreach program for the ASO.
