Have y’all found the online store for Shabby Apple? I’d heard about it from several friends, so today I clicked over to their site to see what all the buzz was about. They have some absolutely PRECIOUS dresses and swimsuits and girls’ dresses and and and…
First of all, let me disclose that because I loved almost everything I saw, I signed up to be an affiliate and receive 5% of all sales that come from my site. I’m sure you all will buy enough for me to take the Hill Four to DisneyWorld, right? Haha!
So, here’s the main thing I love about the style of Shabby Apple items: THEY COVER EVERYTHING THEY SHOULD COVER!!! Their designs are feminine, flirty, classic, and they stay away from plunging necklines, deep arm holes, and skimpy skirts. I love what they say in their “About Shabby Apple” section:
A return to what dresses were always meant to be — a one-piece outfit. No need to add anything…no tank tops, no cardigans, nothing (except accessories, of course!).
Don’t we LOVE that, ladies? I adore a fashion company that realizes we can still be stylish without being immodest. And in spite of using all that extra fabric, they keep their prices extremely reasonable. Most of the dresses are under $100.
So here are my top ten items from their site:
1. The Ferris Wheel dress

Aren’t the blue and green gorgeous? This dress is made of 100% cotton, so it should stay very cool in the summer. And for only $93, it’s a steal!
2. The Antisuyu dress

I think this dress is so interesting. I love the neutral palette, and the pockets on the skirt are so fun and whimsical. I really like this one. And it’s only $86.00.
3. The Blueberry Pie apron

If you’re going to wear beautiful dresses, you’ve got to have an apron to cover them when you are taking dinner out of the oven, right? This sweet, retro style apron was featured in Southern Living. Only $35!
4. The Che Bella! dress

At $78, I think this dress is the perfect staple for a summer wardrobe. It is so versatile, and it could be worn to a movie with your husband, dinner with your friends, or to church. All you’d need is a cute necklace and some cute summer sandals, and you’d be good to go!
5. The Co-Ed Skirt

The nautical look is HUGE this summer, and I think the style of this skirt would be very flattering. It’s only $42, and should hit right above the knee.
6. The Freshwater Pearl dress
So light and summery! Love the price ($82). Love the design of the collar. Love the flowiness. Several reviews said it was very sheer, so you might have to wear something underneath. This dress is also available in a maternity fit.
7. The San Gabriel dress

Isn’t the bodice on this dress adorable? I love the ruffles and the military styling. And I think the light grey poplin would be a great summer fabric. This one is $86.00.
8. Tender Is The Night dress

This would be a fabulous dress for a dressy occasion! I have a dress that is very similar to this one, and the ruffles are extremely flattering. They cover/hide all those imperfections! Love the $93 price tag for a dressy dress like this.
9. The Sorrento swimsuit

The thing I love about this $54 swimsuit is that it’s such a departure from most swimsuit styles. I like the blousy top a lot! And you just about can’t get fuller coverage than this one, but it’s still awfully adorable!
10. The Peach Cobbler dress

Goodness gracious, their girls’ dresses are darling! And I love that they run up to size 12 so that I can have matchy matchy dresses for my girls! This one is only $31, so they, too, are very affordable!
