Have y’all ever played with Polyvore? I know I’ve mentioned it before, but at the time, no one knew what it was. Now that Pinterest is in full swing, Polyvore has grown in popularity. It is a website where you can put together various collections of items found on the internet. It’s mostly used for creating idea boards for interior design and fashions. Many of the outfits you’ve seen on Pinterest were first composed on Polyvore and then published to Pinterest.
Anyhoo, today has been a sick day around the Hill Hangout, so I’ve had some time to play with Polyvore and really figure it out. Y’all, I think this thing could be really useful. It’s like being able to try out clothing items together, although they come from different stores and sources. Okay, so it doesn’t allow you to actually try the clothes on for size and fit, but you can put them together on an idea board and see how various pieces look together.
Here are a few things I put together:
I love it that it keeps up with the original sources for each piece, along with prices. It takes time to find the items on the internet and then put them together in a set, but still it only takes a fraction of the time it would to run all over town trying on, purchasing, and exchanging all these things. I think it will be a useful and fun tool. What about you? Have you used Polyvore?

Ummm, it’s like totally addictive! It’s like playing an adult version of paper dolls. I would be on it ALL the time except I can’t create a board on my iPad:( which is a good thing:). I love that you can create a look effortlessly without leaving your house and then shop for it online or in a store.
I love your Spring outfits!! I never could figure out Polyvore. :s FYI, the button in your post is actually for the posts/blogs I have featured this weekend. The actual party button is the one that says “Weekend Bloggy Reading.”
Ok, I think I have it fixed now. Thanks for stopping by!
