Nutter Butter Banana Pudding

You know, being from the South, I have eaten my fair share of banana pudding. I do love it! But y’all, I have never thought about adding any sort of peanut butter element until I saw it in Southern Living. I mean, it makes perfect sense. After all, a peanut butter and banana sandwich is one of life’s finest delicacies. So I tried it. Shut. Up. It’s fine eating!

1 package Nutter Butter cookies
1 package banana pudding
2 cups cold milk
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1 container Cool Whip
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 bananas

Use milk to make pudding and set aside. Whip cream cheese with mixer. Gradually add condensed milk to cream cheese and continue mixing. When condensed milk and cream cheese are mixed well, slowly begin adding pudding to the mixture.

In a trifle bowl, crumble about a third of the Nutter Butters. Slice one banana and add to trifle bowl. Pour in half of pudding mixture. Top with half of the Cool Whip. Repeat layers. Top with a few Nutter Butters, just to make it pretty. Let me know what you think.
